March of Giants Trailers: Every Video

Every March of Giants trailer in order: the official cinematic trailer, the gameplay and reveal trailers, and the Victoria Giant character trailer.

The main March of Giants trailer you are looking for is the Official Cinematic Trailer, published on October 8, 2026 and hosted on IGN as well as the official YouTube channel. A separate Official Gameplay Trailer, an Official Gameplay Reveal Trailer and character-focused videos sit alongside it. Here is what exists, what each one shows, and which details are confirmed.

The Official Cinematic Trailer

IGN lists the Cinematic Trailer under March of Giants with an October 8, 2026 date, and describes the game as "a free-to-play MOBA strategy action game developed by March of Giants Team." Its own summary promises "a new look at the intense warfare they will partake in as armies clash on the battlefield."

The trailer runs as a battle scene rather than an explainer. The closed captions open with soldiers shouting defensive orders, load "slayer cells," and report that a "Bastion shield" has closed, before a Giant contact is called for Victoria.

It closes on the premise of the world: "This endless war, this hopeless fight. They fought a century. Even their dreams go to war again and again. Victory is impossible." Then the answer, "I am victory."

That final line is the clearest statement of the game's lore hook, and it lines up with the official site copy that Giants are born from the dreams and nightmares of front-line Soldiers.

The gameplay and reveal trailers

IGN's March of Giants hub lists four videos in total: the Cinematic Trailer, an Official Gameplay Trailer running 2:16, an Official Gameplay Reveal Trailer running 1:27, and an Official Solace Ability Gameplay Trailer running 2:54. The same page lists March of Giants with an initial release of TBA.

Those three gameplay videos are the ones to watch if you want systems rather than cinematics. The reveal and gameplay trailers show the lanes, the Soldier waves and the Battleworks that the official site describes, while the Solace video focuses on a single Giant's kit.

IGN also published a written preview, "March of Giants Might Actually Get You to Play a MOBA Besides Dota 2 and League," which is the companion piece to the gameplay footage.

Character and Giant trailers

Alongside the main trailers, March of Giants published short character videos for individual Giants. The Victoria character trailer, subtitled "Dream of Victory," is the one most often shared because it doubles as a lore teaser.

Its narration is explicit about the premise: "For a century, our land has burned with war. Generations lost to the whims of kings and generals, while the people dreamed only of victory. It is from those dreams that I was forged."

It then states her purpose plainly: "Now I come to your battlefield to deliver that which you could not. Victory at any cost." Other Giants received similar treatment in the Giant Spotlight series on the official site.

That series covered Elaris, Ossuary, Voidmaster, Wolfgang, Kragg, Solace and Victoria in October 2026, so the character videos are the most reliable way to see a Giant's abilities before you play them.

Where the trailers premiered

The trailers were tied to a YouTube Premiere. The development team said in the official broadcast that they would host a premiere on October 7 where the team would "give you a closer look at March of Giants and kick off the Pioneer Playtest."

That broadcast ran a full developer-narrated match with Marc-Andre and Javier from the team, and ended by revealing the cinematic, described on camera as "a year and a half of work that we're finally ready to show you."

Because the playtest was announced alongside the trailers, the videos and the playtest window are the same news cycle. If you see a trailer described as a "release" trailer, that is a misreading: no release date has been announced.

What the trailers confirm about the game

Every official trailer uses the same description: free to play, 4v4 MOBA, PC on Steam, in development, with a playtest available now. That is the line IGN carries and the line the official site uses.

The cinematic also confirms the visual direction rather than the genre. It shows trenches, artillery, fortified Bastions and ordinary Soldiers fighting beside a Giant, which matches the studio's stated inspiration from the First World War and the industrial era.

It does not name an engine, a release date, or a price. Anything you see claiming those from a trailer should be marked 待确认 unless it comes from Ubisoft directly.

Which trailer to watch first

If you want the setting and tone, watch the Cinematic Trailer. If you want to understand what you actually do in a match, watch the Official Gameplay Trailer and then the Solace ability video.

If you want to understand one Giant before playing them, start with the character trailer for that Giant, then check the Giant Spotlight post on the official site for the written version.

Reading the cinematic combat beats

The cinematic trailer is not just atmosphere; it walks through the game's vocabulary in order. The opening lines call defensive positions and confirm an enemy approach, then a squad loads slayer cells and reports that a Bastion shield has closed.

From there the sequence escalates to Giant contact, with Victoria named as the responding Giant, and to a war cell Goliath being brought to bear. Further in, a full battalion charge is called and a squad tries to bring a giant down.

The last minute drops the fighting entirely. A narrator describes an endless war and a hopeless fight, notes that the soldiers have fought a century, and concludes that victory is impossible before Victoria answers, "I am victory."

What the trailers do not say

None of the official videos announce a release date, and the IGN page still lists the initial release as TBA. The marketing line that accompanies every one of them is coming soon to PC (Steam), with a playtest available now on Steam.

They also do not name the engine, the price beyond free to play, or the full roster. The character videos cover individual Giants, but the complete list has never been published in one official place, so roster claims should be marked 待确认.

Finally, none of the trailers shows the final UI. The footage is cinematic or early-build gameplay, which is why community questions about placeholder item icons are still open.

How to follow the video releases

The official YouTube channel and the game's site news feed are where trailers and character videos land first, and the X account posts the premiere reminders. Creator channels then repost and react within hours.

If you want the story behind a trailer rather than the video itself, the Giant Spotlight posts are the written companion. They are also the most reliable place to confirm which Giants actually exist in the current build.
